Description
- Perform quality inspections of incoming material, first piece to approve manufacturing set-ups, in process, roving and finished products using inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, indicators, profilometers, surface plate tools, etc.
- Determine methods and procedures necessary for inspection.
- Accurate and detailed preparation of all necessary paperwork.
- 2 - 3 years working as a Quality Inspector or similar job inspecting mechanical parts.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD&T).
- CAR`S and ISO experience.
- Ability to complete PPAP and AS9102 documentation.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection tools using Gage Trak software.
- Experience with Keyence Digital Measuring System a plus
- Very good communication skills.
